We would encourage anyone who is interested in this incredible opportunity to apply. The programme is designed for GPs who have been fully qualified for at least 5 years and who have the potential to remain in practise for at least another 10 years. You do not need any specific qualifications or experience to apply. Phoenix GP is looking to support the full diversity of practising GPs from those at risk of burnout and considering leaving the profession to those with an aspiration to use the skills and knowledge gained from the programme to become a future leader in Primary Care.

Nothing! Phoenix GP is fully funded for all our participants so you don't have to pay anything to attend the programme; however, we are not able to offer any reimbursement for time, travel or accommodation expenses.

Our current programmes are listed on the website however we are planning further programmes across the country. Further details will be on the website as they become available.

There is no mandatory time commitment apart from attending at least five out of the six evening sessions and completing a brief evaluation after each event in order to qualify for one of the fully-funded places.  We would encourage participants to start using the skills they are learning in each session to have a positive impact on their daily practise and make the most of this fantastic opportunity. Ultimately, the more you put in, the more you will get out of it!

No, there is no assessment during the programme however we will be asking for your feedback on each session. We will also ask you to complete a survey after the final session and a follow up survey after 6 - 12 months to evaluate the impact of the programme.

All the information we collect during the application process will be kept confidential and there are strict laws which safeguard your privacy at every stage. Your information will only be used to assess your suitability to participate in the programme and to contact you in relation to the programme. Your identifiable, personal information will only be retained for up to 2 years following completion of the course. Data analysis of de-identified information will be conducted for monitoring purposes. Data protection regulation requires that we state the legal basis for processing information about you. In this case by completing the application form you are providing consent for us to process your information as described above.
