Dr Neil Modha is managing partner at Thistlemoor Medical Centre in Peterborough, caring for 30,000 patients from the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough ICS’s most challenged background. 80% of the patients speak other languages and many work in zero hour contracts prioritising their work over their health. HE is also a GP Trainer, co-clinical director of his Primary Care Network and has led work with Health and Wellbeing coaches, First contact practitioners and Advanced Clinical Practitioners.
Neil has worked at accountable officer level for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Clinical Commissioning group and is the clinical lead of the GP Federation. He also co-chairs the developing Place Based Care Board: The Northern Alliance, which, during the pandemic, has been working collaboratively across the system to try to ensure patients continue to get a service in outpatients and with diagnostics during the various lockdowns. This work has been shortlisted for two HSJ awards.

Dr Amar Rughani was a senior partner in Chapelgreen practice, Sheffield for 30 years, former Associate postgraduate Dean for Yorkshire & the Humber GP School, Provost RCGP South Yorkshire North Trent faculty, former MRCGP examiner and curriculum developer and Honorary senior clinical lecturer at Sheffield University.
In his educational career, he has developed personal development plans and written books for doctors and dentists on the subject. He has written a book ‘Becoming a GP’ to help GP trainees preparing for the MRCGP and has contributed to a number of other GP books as co-author. He was blueprinting clinical lead for the RCGP and helped to develop the licensing examination (MRCGP) and the first GP curriculum. In recent years he has been developing leadership training and mentorship in Yorkshire & Humber deanery and written 'The Leadership Hike' exploring why leadership matters in primary care, and how everyone can discover their leadership potential and use it to make a difference.

Hannah Miller is a speaker, trainer and coach, who combines her own personal experiences of leadership with a tried and tested focus on people’s Strengths. Her fundamental belief in the importance of developing the individual and investing in the team, and her passion for progress is evident in all she does.
She has worked with teams and professionals in all sectors, large and small organisations to charities and universities. Whatever the brief, whatever the size, the focus is always the same – focus on where you are strong and build from there. Dr Kiren Collison is a GP in Oxfordshire and the interim Deputy Medical Director for Primary Care for NHS England and Improvement. Kiren is also the Clinical Chair of Oxfordshire CCG, Co-Chair of her ICS Primary Care Board and board member of NHS Clinical Commissioners. She trained at Cambridge University and University College London. Kiren has a particular interest in strengthening primary care, preventing illness and tackling health inequalities. By writing a weekly magazine health column, Kiren is also keen to spread important health messages to a national and international audience.

Mike is the Clinical Lead for the RCGP’s GP at Scale and QI Ready Programmes. He graduated in 1995 and completed Vocational Training in York in 2002. He has been a partner at Haxby Group since 2002 and has been part of the team that has helped the practice to grow and diversify – it now cares for 50,000 patients across the cities of York and Hull holding both primary care and community pharmacy contracts. He is a GP with an extended role in Vasectomy delivering the service for two neighbouring CCGs. He is the Chair of Nimbus Care Ltd – a multi-practice organisation caring for 130,000 patients working to deliver health care as part of a Primary Care Home model in the City of York.
Mike has interests in clinical leadership and development of the workforce in primary care. He is currently a GP member of the Health Education England’s LETB in the North and is leading the development of Advanced Clinical Practitioners at the LWAB in the Humber Coast and Vale STP. He part of the core group at NHS Collaborate – a movement focused on supporting GP leaders working at scale (www.NHSCollaborate.org). He has previously held the post of Associate Medical Director for Hull CCG and is currently a board member of the RCGP’s Humber and the Ridings Faculty representing them on RCGP Council.
